Donation DetailsWe are currently building a role-model school for India - the Vidya School in DLF City, Gurgaon, Haryana. This will be a day boarding school offering the best educational facilities to less privileged children, at nominal expense, preparing them for the best universities in the country, and specifically, the IITs. The construction of this VIDYA School is underway in S Block-Phase III of DLF City, Gurgaon (Haryana) and will be completed in May 2009. We now have 200 children, from nursery to class VII, ready to start schooling in this new school in the July 2009 session. We are deeply grateful to all donors and volunteers who have helped us come this far. We need some more of your support to go the distance and bring this dream school closer to realization. You can help us achieve this dream school by buying bricks or sponsoring facilities for it. Every brick you buy will help. ADDITIONALLY, VIDYA supports hundreds of women and children from the slums of Delhi, Mumbai & Goa. This is made possible only by the generosity of our donors. Because volunteers do much of our overhead and administration work, over Rs. 85 of every Rs. 100 donated to VIDYA directly benefits the slum communities. That generosity has never been more crucial to VIDYA's survival and growth than it is today. As we grow and expand to reach out to more and more children and women from less privileged communities, we are on the lookout to acquire or rent newer sites to run our educational activities, such as schools and creches, in and around the communities we support. For this we need your support. Your money will help women and children change the environment in which they live, and will also have a profound effect on you and your family's environment.
